There is also no charge to community arts organizations for use of the box office and house systems, including technical orientation. Substantial operating expenses undertaken by The Tabard Theatre Company are recouped solely through bar and concessions operations. Tabard makes this venue available to non-profits as part of an agreement with the City of San Jose Redevelopment Agency that also provides partial funding.

[ Virtual Tour ] POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR TOSPS GUEST USE Funding for non-profit use of Theatre on San Pedro Square (TOSPS) comes from both San Jose Redevelopment Agency (RDA) and The Tabard Theatre Company. Tabard, as the resident and managing theatre company of TOSPS, is the sole authority for assigning and confirming dates for non-profit arts organizations to use this venue for their events and performances. Before moving into the theatre, there are two additional documents that need to be submitted. The Technical Rider contains detailed information about the theatre to help you prepare for your event.
